Traps of the Virtual Society

Computer Ethics Institute, April 28, 1994

Ramon C. Barquin , Washington Consulting Group and Computer Ethics Institute

This is an introduction given by Barquin to a panel at the Convocation on Computer Ethics. In it he sets a broad framework for the discussion of “the universally wired society and the future advances in virtual reality technologies. It is in this region of cyberspace that, in my opinion, some of the most sensitive challenges to cyberethics will arise.”
